12:23p - the story behind the jog.
Jordy and I thought it would be a funny idea to one day go to goodwill and find the tightest, most eighties shorts on earth and funny wifebeaters and go jogging during frosh week at Brock University. I come up with crazy shit like this all the time, but this time we actually went out and did it.

We started off by stretching in the parking lot while cars drove by and then proceeded to run through the huge frosh week vendor fair through lineups and vendor tables. After that, we jogged through residence and at around 12:30, when the cafeteria is completely full, we jogged behind the perimeter of the cafeteria on the deck outside of the cafeteria, while being watched through glass windows by students eating their lunches. While doing this, neither myself or Jordy were laughing, we were just looking straight ahead keeping a straight face. We then jogged through the buildings, including jogging and stretching in front of the windows of computer commons, where 200+ students were using the computer and in front of the crowded bookstore and near the main bus stop. We then noticed that a residence-wide event was going on and ran through that in front of around 500 students (possibly more), drawing a huge applause. We also noticed a Brock Off-Campus club event was happening and we jogged through that as well. Throughout the jogging, members of the university's student union looked visibly angry, but really, all we were doing was jogging. We then went through the vendor fair again and this guy allowed me to use his P.A. system. At which point, I got on the mic and said "Fitness is the most important thing on earth, if you don't jog for at least 4 hours a day, you are unhealthy. Don't smoke, drink or do drugs and don't eat any food because it is all unhealthy, drink only water and gatorade, but only drink gatorade when jogging or it is also unhealthy. Bad things are bad, don't do bad things, don't murder people or assault people. Please join us on our jog, we are jogging against polio and small pox and will be jogging for the next 6 hours. Thank you."

That whole monologue was said during complete silence and confusion.

After the monologue, the guy in charge of the vendor fair (whom I know), came up to us and said "What are you guys doing?", I responded "Nothing, just jogging, keeping fit.", "No, seriously, what are you guys doing?", "Just jogging around, keeping in shape." "no, really guys, what are you guys doing.", again, I responded "Just jogging", he said "You guys are weird."

Whenever we told people we were jogging against polio or small pox, most people responded by saying "wow, that's really great, that's a good cause", not knowing that both diseases had been cured and wiped out.

After we finished jogging and met Bernie at the bus stop, I decided to just ask random hot girls and other people to just pose in pictures with us "in support of jogging". It kicked ass and people had a good time.

Overall, a fucking barrel of laughs!
